Fall Elopement at Pictured Rocks Lakeshore

Pictured Rocks Elopement in Munising, MI

I think elopements at Pictured Rocks juuuuuust might be my favorite. And when they look like days like this one, I think you’ll agree with me! We all know it’s famous for it’s beautiful rocky shoreline, but did you know that the park & the city of Munising are also home to 20 different waterfalls?! The waterfalls were a big thing that Rylee & Ted wanted to incorporate into their day, along with saying their private vows in a gorgeous secluded area and an intimate picnic reception in the woods near the beach. Saying the whole day was beautiful feels like a drastic understatement haha. We had SO much fun running around Munising hunting down different waterfalls, talking about Animal Crossing (Rylee is like REALLY good at it and I’m jealous) and all of the amazing EDM concerts they’ve adventured to! I can’t wait to show you some of my favorites from this day!

Pictured Rocks is full of inland lakes, waterfalls, trails, beaches, and forest! If you are thinking of visiting or planning your wedding here, definitely come prepared with hiking boots & a travel plan!

Planning to elope here can be SO exciting, but also a little tricky! The hikes can be long (like this wedding) and rules vary, so make sure you have your day mapped out! Or, hire a photographer who can help you out!

It was just such an honor to have been able to be a part of such a beautiful & intimate Pictured Rocks elopement, and I know I will be obsessing over this day for a very long time! Congratulations Rylee & Ted!!
