It feels really really good to be back on the blogging train, I’m not gonna lie! I know blogs can be redundant but it’s also so cool to share a bigger glimpse into these sessions and elopements and weddings. I wanted to kick off my first standard post 2022 with one of my favorite sessions from last fall with these two sweet souls! They braved waking up at the crack of dawn to catch that beautiful Marquette morning light and MAN was it worth it. Presque Isle is one of my favorite spots to take photos in Michigan because of how unique it is, and the light always just hits it sooooooooo wonderfully. Presque Isle is definitely the most popular spots for photos in Marquette for me, and it’s so easy to see why! It’s surrounded by gorgeous cliffs and rocky outcrops – there are so many opportunities for amazing photos here!!

Finding new places in the UP is one of my absolute favorite pastimes. You can see that Presque Isle is clearly amazing, but Marquette (and the UP) also has tons of amazing spots to explore for your session! I also loved how these two were feeling SUPER adventurous and were ready for a lil’ morning swim!

Everything about this morning session was pure magic, and even though I am a total snow lover it just gets me so excited to be back up north in the warm weather! Cheers to these two!
