You all know how much of an advocate I am for Michigan’s beauty (definitely not a secret)! But seriously, the best part of being Michigan Elopement Photographer and being a part of days like this. There are so many beautiful spots to elope, but planning a Michigan upper peninsula waterfall elopement is one of the best! We have some of the most beautiful waterfalls here, and they are just the most beautiful, intimate spots for your ceremony. These two were SUCH troopers when it came to hiking to the falls. Being a Michigan Elopement Photographer I’ve seen many wedding dress hikes, but this hike into this basin took the cake!

The bouquet was one of my favorite parts, and I was SO pumped with how it turned out! I made it out of dead branches I found on a local hike that morning, and bought a couple of flowers to spruce it up from an incredible local florist. Foraging your own bouquet (as long as you respect nature & local wildflower laws) can be a really cool & eco-friendly alternative!
