Sunrise Waterfall Elopement

There is something so incredibly magical about eloping at sunrise. It creates the most beautiful, ethereal setting. With the first light cutting through the fog, the peacefulness of the world waking up around you, and being able to share in that peace while you say your vows to your favorite person is truly amazing. It’s seriously one of my favorite feelings in the world to witness, and this day with these two was especially magical. This sunrise waterfall elopement started with a beautiful hike and turned into an absolutely gorgeous adventure of a day with their loved ones.

Avoiding crowds is another amazing reason to choose to elope at sunrise rather than later in the day! Especially in busier locations. Kelly + Jeff had the entire area to just themselves and their loved ones for almost our entire time there, which was incredible. If you’re considering eloping at a more well-known location, a sunrise elopement could be the hack for you to get the space you want without as many people!

Waterfalls are one of the most magical places to elope. It’s amazing that we have some absolutely gorgeous ones like this here in Michigan! But there are some beautiful ones all around the world you could explore for your own sunrise waterfall elopement!

From start to finish, we worked together to create a day that was entirely them. And the end result couldn’t have been better.
