Spring Elopement at Presque Isle
With spring almost here, I figured what better time than now to share this magical day?! Carly and Alex shared their wedding day with some of their closest loved ones on the shores of Lake Superior. The whole day was like something out of a dream, with nature as the most beautiful backdrop for this incredible day. From the intimate ceremony at Presque Isle to the joyous celebration at their Airbnb, every detail was filled with warmth, intentionality, and their love for each other. There was so many laughs and happy tears throughout the day, even I got emotional! I’m so excited to share more from this beautiful spring elopement at Presque Isle!
Their first look was a tear jerker! I was definitely getting misty behind the camera haha. It worked out so perfectly that we found an AirBnb that was not only beautiful but also right on the water, with lots of space for getting ready and a first look! They followed this with a beautiful ceremony for their spring elopement at Presque Isle.
The whole afternoon felt like an endless golden hour. The sunlight up in Marquette can be absolutely unreal! They had the most beautiful dinner setup for them and their loved ones, including appetizers and an incredible dinner prepared by a private chef!
When Carly & Alex first reached out to me, they weren’t 100% positive on what they wanted their day to look like and had never been to the UP! We worked together to create an absolutely beautiful wedding experience and everything about their day was just pure magic. So if you’re thinking of getting married somewhere you’ve never been before, don’t worry!! Just find a photographer who can help you feel confident in understanding a location and help you have an amazing experience just like them!

You have so much beauty and variety all in one area, all while being very close to multiple locations and a very charming town! Marquette is basically the central hub of the UP, where it’s easy to find amazing food, drinks, and plenty of UP culture hahah. Within a 15 minute drive of the city you can find incredible beaches, rocks, waterfalls, and even mountains to climb!
