Q. Where are you located? Do you travel?
A. I currently live in Grand Rapids in the beautiful state of Michigan, but I absolutely LOVE to travel! Whether it’s in Michigan, the US, or abroad, I would love to work with you no matter where you are. My travel is billed very simply, and typically includes getting there/back and a night or two in a cheap hotel. I love working with people that are always down for an adventure. So if you wanna hop in the car and drive three hours away to an awesome location for your shoot? Let’s do it!

Q. What is your experience with photography?
A. I got my first camera when I was 6 (a Barbie Polaroid – & it still works!!) and I haven’t put one down since. I started taking it seriously when I got to college, and got my Bachelor of Fine Arts in photography and graphic design!
Q. What does your wedding coverage include?
A. All of my packages include 6 hours or more of coverage, an online gallery, USB of high-resolution photos, and printing rights. Other services like second shooters, additional time, and additional sessions can all be added on – just get in touch to make your perfect package! 🙂
Q. Will any of our photos be in black and white?
A. Yes! The vast majority will be in color (unless you request more black and white) but we use our discretion to choose which images will look best in black and white.
Q. Are all of the photos retouched?
A. Yes, all of the images you receive will be edited.
Q. What should I wear to my engagement session?
A. Definitely something you are comfortable in and can be yourself in! We will be doing lots of fun things at your shoot, so make sure it’s something you don’t mind running around in or sitting on the ground in. Lots of layers and things that are flowy are always awesome. If you’re really not sure, let me know and I’d be happy to help!
Q. Do you offer albums or prints?
A. Absolutely! You can order prints or a wedding album from your session at any time. For more detailed information, please send me an e-mail.
Q. Is it okay to post our photos on social media?
A. Absolutely! They are your photos too so you can use them for whatever personal uses you want. All I ask is that you please don’t edit, crop, or put a filter any of your images. And if you do post, please tag me!! I love to see what you post!
Q. We’re ready! How do we book?
A. Booking with me is super easy! For weddings, all I require is a signed contract and a 25% non-refundable deposit. For portrait sessions, get in touch with me and we will set it up.
Q. How far in advance should we book your services?
A. For weddings, many couples book anywhere from a few months to a year in advance. The earlier you contact me, the better your chances are of having the date open. 🙂 For portrait sessions 1-2 months in advance is perfect!
Q. If things change on my wedding day, is there any way I can adjust my coverage?
A. For sure! Up until 30 days before your wedding you can adjust your coverage time. Adding additional time to your day within a month of your wedding is an additional $300/hr.
