I always remember when I was growing up my mom would say things like "life only moves quicker the older you get" and if these past two years haven't proved that point then I don't know what will haha. 2021 was a record year for me. And by "record" I don't mean income, I mean a record amount of time spent shooting, editing, traveling, and having to learn to figure my shit out haha. I'm sure many other wedding vendors can relate with the struggles that have been brought on from Covid and the stresses of this past year, but I want to focus on my big positive - you.
To say that it means the world to me that my couples choose to have me with them as a part of this journey is an understatement. Sometimes I look back on when I graduated college with my BFA in photography thinking "well what the fuck do I do now?" and how working for another photographer shooting weddings and left me thinking "there's no effing way I can do this". But over the years, thanks to each and every one of you, you've helped me get here. You've led me to this incredible spot where I get to work with all of you amazing people, travel our beautiful state, and work with you to create and have the wedding day of your dreams. You've trusted me with your people, your intimate moments, your days - and there aren't enough words in this world to express my gratitude for your trust in capturing these moments. And YES I understand I'm a cheeseball but I don't care. Everyone who has ever chosen me, I love you, thank you. You've helped me to live out my childhood dream of turning what I love into a career, and I am forever thankful to have been able to serve you on such an important day.
I'm so honored to have been able to serve you in 2021, and I cannot WAITTTT for all of the wonderful people & experiences that 2022 is going to bring (including me getting MARRIED like WHAT)
I decided that I wanted to do a little post and post some of my FAVORITE photos from your days in 2021 - so buckle up for a long one hahah but I can't wait to see all of you in one place. LET'S GO.
Thank you all again a million times over for having me along on this adventure with you. Cheers to YOU and cheers to 2022!!!
